Webkinz Trading Cards

Webkinz trading cards are sets of trading cards launched of late by the same Ganz gift company that had introduced the Webkinz stuffed soft toys back in 2005. The Webkinz trading cards, very much like the Webkinz stuffed animal toys, allow you to access the Webkinz World website so that you can play games with the virtual versions of the Webkinz pets. You can simultaneously play simple card games with the trading cards.

Like the animal toys, the Webkinz trading cards have feature codes. In fact, every pack of cards includes one card that has up to five feature codes. These feature codes award you random prizes like food, coupons and rare items from the Curio Shop for your Webkinz. You also get a free pack of Virtual Trading cards and Kinzcash along with the prizes. (Kinzcash is the Webkinz World version of virtual currency).

Nevertheless, you need to have an active Webkinz account to make use of these prizes and Kinzcash.

The Different Webkinz Trading Cards

The first series of Webkinz Trading Cards has some 80 base set cards that feature Webkinz pets, characters, items and recipes. The cards have been divided into three subsets – Challenge Cards, Curio Shop Curiosities & Webkinz Doodlez.

Challenge Cards

The challenge cards are meant for playing the ‘Challenge game’, which you can play with someone offline with just the cards or online in the Tournament Arena. In total, there are 15 Challenge Cards.

Curio Shop Curiosities

The Curio Shop Curiosities are a collection of 8 FOIL cards. Each of the card has close up of your favorite curiosities.

Webkinz Doodlez

The Webkinz Doodlez are a set of 8 all-FOIL cards created by Webkinz artists. The sketches give you insight into the designing of the different Webkinz World characters, items and games.

What Games Do You Play With The Webkinz Trading Cards?

A number of simple games like arcade games and quizzes are played with Webkinz trading cards. As with the Webkinz toys, the games played with the cards help you make Kinzcash, which you can further utilize to purchase foods and other stuff for your Webkinz.
